'I am deeply grieved by the tragic loss of life and devastation caused by today's flash floods. I extend my heartfelt condolences to all the families who have lost their loved ones. My team and I stand in solidarity with the people of Pakistan during this difficult time,' said U.S. Embassy Charg© d'Affaires Natalie Baker in a statement posted on the embassy's official X account.
Baker reaffirmed U.S. support for Pakistan as rescue and relief operations continue in flood-hit areas.
