Islamabad: H.E. Salem Mohammed Salem Al Bawab Al Zaabi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Pakistan, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister House. The Prime Minister welcomed the UAE Ambassador and congratulated him on his recent appointment, appreciating the longstanding brotherly relations between Pakistan and the UAE based on mutual respect and close cooperation. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his best wishes for the UAE leadership and said he looked forward to the upcoming visit of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, to Pakistan. He emphasized the need to further enhance bilateral trade, investment, and cooperation in key sectors including energy, minerals, IT, railways, and aviation, while inviting increased UAE investment to support Pakistan's economic growth. The Prime Minister also acknowledged the UAE's continued support for Pakistan, including humanitarian assistance and development projects.
