London: UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has called on Prince Andrew (Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor) to testify before the US Congress following his appearance in newly released Epstein files by the US Department of Justice.

The documents, published under the Epstein Files Transparency Act signed by US President Donald Trump in November 2025, include emails and photographs involving the former royal. These records reveal communications and images between Andrew and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, including photographs of Andrew kneeling over an unidentified woman and emails proposing meetings with a 'beautiful, trustworthy' 26-year-old Russian woman.

Starmer emphasized the importance of prioritizing Epstein's victims and said anyone with relevant information should be prepared to share it. 'You can't be victim-centered if you're not prepared to do that,' he stated.

Prince Andrew, stripped of his royal titles last year by King Charles III amid renewed controversy linked to Virginia Giuffre, has repeatedly denied wrongdoing. He previously settled a civil lawsuit with Giuffre, who claimed she was trafficked to Andrew for non-consensual encounters while still a minor. The latest file release shows contact between Andrew and Epstein two years after Epstein's 2008 conviction in Florida.

The PM's call comes as public and legal scrutiny over the former royal's relationship with Epstein continues to mount.
