Islamabad: A special meeting was held under Interior minister Mohsin Naqvi in connection with preparations for historical US-Iran talks in Pakistan.
Security arrangements, hospitality for guests and necessary preparations for holding successful talks were deliberated over in details in the meeting.
Interior minister Mohsin Naqvi while terming the peace talks on this important occasion an honor for Pakistan said US, Iran, coming to Pakistan for talks following ceasefire is a big achievement.
He directed to ensure to take all possible steps for security and hospitality of the foreign delegations.
It was decided in the meeting red zone will be completely sealed and entry will be allowed to only authorized persons . Control room has been set up in interior ministry so that the security and other arrangements could be monitored.
The meeting was attended by state minister for interior Talal Chaudhry, interior secretary, chief commissioner, IG Islamabad police, Commissioner Rawalpindi, DG FIA, DC Islamabad, Rangers, Federal Constabulary and representatives of foreign ministry.
