ISLAMABAD:District and Session Court Islamabad has indicted Vice Chancellor (VC) Health Services Commission (HSC) Shahzad Ali on the charges of violence against woman.

As per media report Judicial magistrate Shaista Kundi indicted Shahzad Ali while the accused pleaded not guilty.

The court issued October 12 written order.

According to the court order the accused was charged with assaulting the plaintiff on July 17, 2025. The accused was also charged with punching , kicking the woman and injuring her by strangling .

The case against the accused was registered in Women Police Station on July 29, 2025.

The court directed to run the case against the accused on the charges under sections 354 and 337-A.

The charge sheet was read out in the presence of the accused.

The accused gave statement in the court he will present his defence when needed.
