Islamabad: Finance Minister (FM) Muhammad Aurangzeb has said we are shifting national economy from foreign aid dependency to trade and investment. Addressing a ceremony he said here public-private partnership is inevitable for economic development. The process of economic development is connected to investment and promotion of business activities.

He held government is taking measures for durable development beside economic uplift.

He underlined enhancement in exports, investment and production potential are our priorities.

Export can play a vital role in growth of our national exports. Creating conducive environment for business and investment in Pakistan is government priority.

He remarked development of private sector will generate new opportunities for jobs. We are taking our national economy from aid to trade and investment.

He said that cooperation will have to be bolstered further with international financial institutions and business community. Joint efforts are must for passing fruits of economic development to grass roots level.
