Karachi: JI Amir Hafiz Naeem has said we want abolition of levy and not charity. " Nation is in torment. Economy is ruining. The only demand of JI with government is abolition of levy., he said this while talking to media men here.

He held the money will come from where on abolition of petroleum levy. We have told government repeatedly the money can be acquired from where. But government has no argument in reply to our stance.

He held government is giving relief of Rs 25 billion only by collecting Rs 1567 billion on account of levy. Government should abolish levy instead of distributing charity. Government should not go for averting the talks. If the demands are not met then we will end talks. If talks are suspended then the decision will be on roads.

He observed government has estimated our struggle after Islamabad March.

Government has evolved the system to make stand the masses in queues.

We reject government decision of imposing lock down. Petroleum levy be abolished instead of imposing lock down. The system of pressurizing traders and shop keepers is not acceptable.

Government should implement its promise on reducing the interest rate.

Why the price of diesel has not been reduced. Transport, tractors and other departments run on diesel.

The entire record of use of government plane be brought before nation. Vehicles of ministers and government officers be restricted to 1300 CC.
