We welcome Bloomberg’s recent positive report on Pakistan’s economy: PM

Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has welcomed Bloomberg's recent positive report with reference to Pakistan's economy.

In his statement PM has said as per report the probability of Credit Default Swap (CDS) has witnessed remarkable fall of 2200 basis points which reflects that confidence of international investors in our national economy is on rise persistently.

He held Pakistan is next to Turkiye in emerging economies as per global ranking. It is good news for Pakistan.

Country was standing on the verge of default at the end of previous government.

PM said today's report is significant milestone for us and is manifestation of our journey to development.

The promise for development of Pakistan is seen to be realized due to tireless efforts of government of Pakistan and with the cooperation of Pakistan and global business community. This journey to development will now not halt at all .

Pakistan economy as second emerging economy has said Pakistan has improved its financial credibility in four quarterlies.

According to Bloomberg Pakistan has authored new history in global financial perspective. Pakistan has come to No 2 in terms of decrease in default risk.
