Islamabad: Deputy Chief of the Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and Secretary General Milli Yakjehti Council Liaqat Baloch has said that like the whole world, soon we will celebrate the win of Iran and Hamas in Islamabad also.

This was stated by Liaqat Baloch while addressing the ceremony organized by Iranian Embassy in Islamabad on the occasion of 37th death anniversary of Imam Khomeini. The ceremony was also addressed by Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Dr. Reza Amiri Moghadam, Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, Senator Kamran Murtaza, Member National Assembly Sehar Kamran, Syeda Tayyaba Khanum Bukhari, Abdullah Gull and others.

Liaqat Baloch said Imam Khomeini brought revolution in the light of teachings of the Holy Qurran and Sunnah, adding that the West spent billions of dollars to term it as Shia revolution but failed. He said when Imam Khomeini was preparing to come to Iran from France, he had sent a delegation to flounder of JI Syed Abul A’la Maududi. He said after this the delegations of Islamic movements from whole world reached Pakistan and then collectively went to Iran for congratulating the Imam.

Liaqat Baloch said that non believers did not like this revolution and from last four decades different restrictions were imposed on Iran, wars were imposed and recent war is worst example of it, adding that Iranian nation and Revolutionary Guards while showing great steadfastness foiled the conspiracies of the enemy. Liaqat Baloch said he has the honour of meeting four times with Imam Khomeini. He said the Iranian nation has shown steadfastness in every difficult time. He said the Iranian nation and military have written a new chapter of eternal sacrifices. He said that Israel and America have faced defeat, mediation and ceasefire agreement have become necessity of America and Israel. He said that Pakistan has played role of Islamic brotherhood with Iran.

Liaqat Baloch said that Hamas and Brigade Al-Aqsa Flood have also shown great patience, steadfastness and planning. He said that the struggle of Hamas supported the Iranian nation, adding that this struggle will become the example for the Islamic movements of the whole world. He said that the enemy is propagating that the struggle of Hamas has failed but dividends of these sacrifices will continue to be reaped by the Islamic movements of the whole world. He said that the people pf Gaza have written a new history of bravery and steadfastness instead of facing every kind of suppression, genocide and destruction of their villages. He said that the struggle of Hamas and Iranian nation is going to bring fruits and soon we will celebrate the success at large scale in Islamabad also.
