Lahore: Winter packages have been distributed among the 100 deserving families under the Alkhidmat Women Trust Lahore. The package includes quilts, blankets and warm clothes.While speaking on the occasion, Vice President Alkhidmat Women Trust Saba Saqib said that temperature is continuously decreasing due to winter season, adding that many deserving families are facing severe problems in fulfilling their basic needs. She said that due to this reason Alkhidmat Women Trust Lahore arranged distribution of 100 winter packages among the deserving families in Karamat Colony of Lahore so that they could be provided necessary help in winter season.Saba Saqib said that so far during the current winter, 200 packages have been distributed among the deserving families in the provincial capital, adding that overall this facility will be extended to 600 deserving families so that needy people could save themselves from winter. She said that Alkhidmat is playing crucial role to include the people belonging to all segme nts of society in the race of life. She said that Alkhidmat Foundation while helping the affectees of natural calamities in whole world is serving the humanity irrespective of their caste and colour.
