ý:ýGAZA: The head of the Shura Council of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, Mohammad Darwish, has written a congratulatory letter to Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, the new Supreme Leader of Iran.ýýIn the letter, Mohammad Darwish said: On my own behalf and on behalf of the leadership of the Islamic Resistance Movement - Hamas in Palestine, I extend my heartfelt and sincere congratulations to you on being chosen as the leader of the Islamic Revolution. This responsibility has been entrusted to you after the late leader, Ali Khamenei (may Allah have mercy on him), who attained the great status of martyrdom in what was described as a treacherous Zionist-American aggression. We deeply appreciate the fact that despite extremely complex security conditions, the transfer of power was successfully completed and the leadership responsibility was entrusted to you through a strong and stable institutional process. This clearly demonstrates that the system of the Islamic Republic of Iran stands on strong and solid fou ndations by the grace of Allah, and that all conspiracies of the enemies will fail to weaken this strong system.ýMohammad Darwish said we have full confidence in your wisdom, insight, and leadership abilities that you will successfully steer the ship of the revolution and the Islamic Republic through this delicate stage, safeguard the path of the revolution, and achieve success against the enemies of Islam and Muslims. We firmly believe that, as in the past, the Islamic Republic of Iran will continue to support the Palestinian people, their just cause, and their courageous resistance in every possible way.ýýThe letter further states that we renew our commitment on this occasion that our people and our resistance will always remain steadfast in their pledge until Allah grants victory and success. At the same time, we express our heartfelt condolences and sympathy and consider ourselves partners in your grief over the martyrdom of the great leader Ali Khamenei and other honored members of your respected family.ýThe martyred leader set the highest example of sacrifice, dedication, and struggle in the greatest battles of the Muslim Ummah. We believe that every drop of pure blood shed and every sacrifice made by our Ummah in this path will forever become a curse upon the oppressive killers, will defeat their conspiracies, and destroy their plans. ýGod willing, these sacrifices will bring about their downfall and will give us greater determination to continue firmly on this path until Jerusalem and Palestine are liberated and all plans of Zionist-American domination and arrogance in our region fail.
