Islamabad: Anti-Narcotics Forces has foiled an attempt to smuggle drugs worth crores of rupees abroad at Islamabad airport.

According to ANF officials, Ali Mat Khan had arrived at the airport to fly towards bahrain via foreign flight BF 771.

During the scanning of the goods at the ANF counter, the drugs were identified which were searched by the ANF staff, during the search high quality heroin was found in the bottom of the bag.

Suspect, who was on his way to Bahrain from here, was shifted to ANF police station.

Case has been registered against Ali Mat Khan and further investigation has been started.
