LAHORE: Banking Crimes Court has extended interim bail of PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif and opposition leader in Punjab Assembly (PA) Hamza Shahbaz to September 25.

The court has directed director FIA to appear before it on next hearing.

Duty judge Aslam Gondal took up the case for hearing Saturday.

Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz appeared in the court and completed their attendance.

Shahbaz Sharif took the plea during the hearing of the case that case is running in NAB but FIA too has started the proceedings.

The learned judge inquired you have appeared before FIR for how many time.,

The investigation officer replied we have summoned Shahbaz Sharif only once.

The court inquired since when the investigation is running. The file is silent since July 2. Only four lines have been written in two months. What investigation you are making.

The court remarked you should investigate so that the accused could also come to know.

Hamza Shahbaz said when they were arrested then why investigation was not made. Earlier investigation was not made and now it is being asked to arrest.

The court ordered investigation officer to complete investigation.

The court extended interim bail of Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz till September 25.
