Cooperation of business community sought in the war against narcotics

Islamabad: Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam, Federal Secretary, Ministry of Narcotics Control expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the members of ICCIfor convening at the MNC on such a short notice for a national cause and emphasized the resolve of the Honourable Federal Minister for Narcotics Control, Brig. Ijaz Ahmed Shah to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society with special focus on safeguarding the health and well being of the youth.

Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam said that the government was determined to make Pakistan a narcotics free society and business community should extend its cooperation to the government in its war against narcotics to develop a healthy nation. He said this while talking to a delegation of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry that called on him led by Muhammad ShakeelMunir, President. Jamshaid Akhtar Sheikh Senior Vice President, Muhammad Faheem Khan Vice President ICCI, S.M.Munir former CEO TDAP, MianAkramFarid Chairman Founder Group, Abdul Rauf Alam, Tariq Sadiq, MianShaukatMasud, Khalid Iqbal Malik, Muhammad EjazAbbasi, Zafar Bakhtawari, ZahidMaqbool, Ch. Waheedud Din, Sheikh Amir Waheed, Muhammad Naveed Malik, SaifurRehman Khan, Zia Khalid Chaudhry and others were in the delegation.
