Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that construction of dams is the need of hour to meet country’s water lacking.

The Prime Minister was talking to Chairman Wapda Lieutenant General (r) Muzammil Hussain, who called on him Monday.

Chairman Wapda briefed Prime Minister Imran Khan over ‘decade of dams’ project and construction of new dams across country.

The Prime Minister showed satisfaction over the developments and directed Wapda to complete the construction work within due timeline.

He said that construction of new dams will also be beneficial to overcome power crisis.
