LAHORE: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested five terrorists and recovered explosives.

CTD has arrested five terrorists during 19 intelligence based operations across Punjab

Detonator, Explosives, Hand Grenades, Safety fuse, Cash, IED and other materials have been recovered from the arrested culprits.

According to CDT spokesperson, Terrorist Waqas, Amir-ullah, Abid Ur Rehman were arrested with Muhammad Jahangir and Muhammad Rahmatullah.

All the arrested terrorists have affiliation with banned outfit.

Terrorists have made terrorism planes in Punjab to target important installation and religious places besides conducting terror related acts. .

Arrested terrorists have been shifted to unknown destination for more investigations.

Spokesperson told that CTD has conducted 535 combing operations in seven days, during which they investigated 26533 people and arrested 85 persons besides registering 71 cases against suspects.
