KARACHI:02 october : Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi chief Engr Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said that the JI will announce its course of action in connection with the issue of Gulshan e Illahi on Sunday, Oct 10 as the leniency of the corrupt rulers and officials have shaped a new mafia in the country that deals with the real estate sector.

The JI leader announced this after a meeting with the delegation of affectees of the project. The delegation called on Engr Naeem at the JI headquarters , Idara Noor e Haq.

The delegation informed the JI leadership that the allottees of the plots in the project were denied of possession files and the matter was subject by the builder to development charges. The amount of the development charges was ironically set multiple folds more than the original price of the plot, the delegation members said while sharing their ordeal.

The delegation further said that those who already paid development charges were also denied of the possession files and instead they were misbehaved by the administration of the builder.

The affected people pleaded the JI leadership to take up the matter and expressed their hope that the JI will bring their matter to a just end as the party did in the cases of other residential projects.

In response, the JI leadership assured the delegation that the party will not spare them. On the occasion, it was agreed that the party will announce its strategy in this regard at a convention on Oct 10 at the JI headquarters.
