NA session to discuss govt-TLP agreement

Islamabad: Meeting of National Assembly (NA) is likely to be called on November 5 to discuss ongoing political situation in country.

According to media reports, government is supposed to take lawmakers in confidence regarding recent agreement between government and banned Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP).

Important legislation would also be done during the session, sources revealed.

Well-placed sources said that parliamentary committee was reviewing pros and corns of the agreement.

Meeting of National Security Committee (NSC) would also be held immediately after the National Assembly session, sources said.

Meeting of National Assembly will be presided by Speaker Asad Qaiser, which will review current national political scenario and Afghanistan’s evolving security situation.
