NCOC teams visit parts of Punjab to strictly enforce the mandatory vaccination instructions

Lahore: The teams of National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) and district administration Rawalpindi on Saturday visited hotels, restaurants and bus terminals in different parts of the city to strictly enforce the mandatory vaccination instructions.

According to details, the teams inspected the vaccination status of people at hotels, restaurants and bus terminals.

On the occasion, the district administration sealed several hotels and restaurants around sixth road and Commercial market. They also registered FIR against the violators and fines were imposed on those were not vaccinated.

The team also detained people at the Pirwadhai bus terminal who were issuing bus tickets to non-vaccinated people. FIRs were registered against the terminal managers and owners and they were shifted to the police station.

In Thesil Burewala the administration has sealed two banks and a commercial center for violations of covid-19 standard operating procedure (SOPs).

Bahawalpur has been included in those top five districts of Punjab, where Covid positivity ratio has been found less than one percent.

Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur, Irfan Ali Kathia told our Radio Pakistan Bahawalpur Correspondent Sajjad Parvez, that it’s all becomes possible due to complete enforcement of NCOC recommendations regarding SOPs implementation across Bahawalpur.

He told that in Bahawalpur daily forty thousand persons are being vaccinated for the last two months against the set target of ten thousand persons daily while one hundred and seventeen FIRs have been registered against those caught while violating covid-19 SOPs across the city.

Earlier, our Radio Pakistan Bahawalpur Correspondent Sajjad Parvez also visited different shopping malls, major brands outlets, restaurants and talked with people visiting these places.

While recording their impressions, they appreciated the performance of NCOC and administration regarding implementation of covid-19 SOPs and expressed their satisfaction.
