Opposition unable to suggest new NAB chairman’s name

Islamabad: National Assembly’s Opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif’s office has denied that no name has been sent to the president by Shahbaz Sharif for the post of chairman of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

According to sources in the opposition leader’s office, consultation process was underway with all the opposition parties for the appointment of new NAB chairman.

On the other hand, sources revealed that reason behind delay is Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), as they have sought time till next week to give their name. The next meeting of the opposition parties on the issue will decide further line of action.
