PM afraid of accountability, says Maryum Aurangzeb

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’s spokesperson Maryum Aurangzeb said Monday that Prime Minister Imran Khan was ‘scared’ of his accountability while premier’s answerability had just begun.

“It is just the beginning. A lot more is coming your way. Why are you afraid so much?” she asked, while reacting to Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry’s statement.

Maryum Aurangzeb said that Prime Minister was being proved guilty in all those allegations he used to make against his political opponents. She said that PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif had been acquitted by UK’s National Crime Agency and the British courts in all corruption charges against him.

She said that ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf was ‘running away’ from foreign funding case. “If the case is so weak, then why are you running away from it? Why did you keep shuffling your lawyers in last six years?” she said.

Maryum alleged Prime Minister Imran Khan of ‘concealing party’s assets from the Election Commission of Pakistan and said that wealth coming from fourteen countries was illegally transferred to the Prime Minister.
