ISLAMABAD: Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas Chief and former Palestinian prime minister Ismail Haniyeh has said that Quaid Tehreek-e-Azadi Jammu Kashmir Syed Ali Shah Geelani was not only forceful voice of Kashmiris but was also forceful voce in favor of Palestinians. Ismail Haniyeh said that with the passing away of Syed Ali Shah Geelani irreparable loss has been caused to the nations struggling against the foreign occupation especially Palestinians. Ismail Haniyeh said that Syed Ali Geelani was forceful voice of suppressed people of whole world including Palestinians.

This was stated by Ismail Haniyeh while telephonically talking to Convener Tehreek-e-Hurriayt Jammu and Kashmir Ghulam Muhammad Safi while offering condolence over the death of Sheikh Ahmed Yasin of sub-continent (Syed Ali Shah Geelani).

Ismail Haniyeh said that Syed Ali Geelani was the practical form of continued struggle, adding that Syed Ali Geelani had allocated his whole life for the Kashmiris and for which he had to bear the hardships like detentions and tortures.

On the occasion Ismail Haniyeh has also written a letter to family of Syed Ali Geelani, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir leadership and Kashmiris, in which rich tribute has been paid to the services of the late leader for the Kashmiris and Palestinians. This letter will be delivered to the concerned people through Ghulam Muhammad Safi.
