Lahore: Home department Punjab has constituted 12 JITs for investigation into 12 cases against proscribed Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan (TLP).

According to home department Punjab notification 7 JITs will investigate into the cases registered in Lahore and 5 JITs will investigate the cases registered in Sheikhupura.

As per media reports JITs will investigate the cases registered under terrorism and other serious clauses.

The representatives of Police, CTD and intelligence agencies are included in JITs.

Punjab police had made request for constitution of JITs in order to investigate these cases.

Over 2000 miscreants nominated in over 75 cases against TLP are arrested.
