Shia scholars said this while addressing the gathering of jummat ul wida. He said that rallies would be taken out to express solidarity with Palestinians. They said that the occupation of Quds (Qibla Awal) was the issue of all the Muslims of the world and not of any sect or nation. They said it was a challenge for the Muslims, as we could not take it back from Israilies, further said it is our paramount duty to high light this issue, the day is not far when Quds will become free and Israel will disintegrate. They said that on it the occasion rallies will also be taken out.

PPP leader Hoti disparages PTI Chairman IK
MARDAN: Former federal minister and senior leader of Pakistan people’s party, Nawabzada Khwaja Mohammad Khan Hoti on Friday strongly criticized former prime minister Imran Khan and said that Imran Khan is mentally ill person and wants treatment. “Imran Khan is the greatest fascist leader of this time, ” he added. He expressed these views while addressing a crowded news conference at Mardan press club. Khwaja Hoti said that this person does not believe in the law and constitution of the country and questioned that there is no one to bring this mentally ill person under the law. He added that Imran Khan used un-Islamic words in the Peshawar conference and compared himself with prophet Mohammad SAW.
He argued that his party workers have started un-Islamic things which is amazing and wants to close. He added that in his political career he has not seen such type of Prime Minister who neither abides the constitution nor the judiciary and Parliament. He added that Imran Khan only wanted power and this made him mentally ill. He added that during the no confidence motion Imran Khan hung up the constitution for four days.
He argued that Imran Khan during the last three and half years’ government isolated the country and damaged the relationship with China, Saudi Arabia, America, Europe and other countries. He argued that Imran Khan during his power only use harsh words against the opposition party’s leaders and did nothing for the poor people of the country. He added that Imran Khan also pressured media houses and media persons through different ways and now he has become a champion of independent media. He appreciated the efforts of the Supreme court and Army chief and said that they were standing with the constitution of Pakistan.
He argued the decision of the supreme court strengthened the democratic system in the country. He added that in Pakistan political history it was the first decision of the high judiciary which was appreciated by the political forces throughout the country. He argued that Imran Khan sold the Toshakhana gifts worth Rs140 million in Dubai which badly damaged the country’s reputation throughout the world. He added that after Farah Khan’s 11 billions corruption scandal, the scandal of sugar, flour, Rawalpindi ring road, medicine, corona, BRT, tsunami and billion tree project, Malamjaba and others will also come in front.
He argued that Imran Khan staged a drama of resignation from the national assembly first they gave resignation from the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa assembly where they have been in power for the last eight years and their performance is zero. He also strongly criticized the retired general for supporting Imran Khan and said that they remained silent when Imran Khan isolated the country and created a storm of inflation in the country and made life difficult for the poor. Khwaja Hoti demanded from the Army Chief to control these retired generals and the privileges should be taken away from them and distributed among the poor people and let them be sent to the battlefield. “During his tenure, Imran Khan locked even women of opposition party’s leaders in jails and said that they would not be given facilities in jails”, Khwaja Hoti added. He added that however he cannot prove any corruption on opposition party leaders and their women in the last three years.
He added that he also blackmails chairman NAB on a video scandal. He added that we are used to jails but now what will Imran Khan do?. He argued that Imran Khan is trying to make the state institutions controversial and wants to spread anarchy in the country by taking out processions and meetings of a few people in the country. He added that through this way Imran Khan also wants to protect himself from accountability. He argued that we can also take people on the streets but we do not want civil war in the country. Khwaja Hoti argued that it is need of the current situation that Imran Khan should be brought within the ambit of constitution and law otherwise it will badly damage the country.
Why so much concern is expressed over opening of courts: IHC
ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice (CJ) Islamabad High Court (IHC) Athar Minallah has remarked why so much concern is expressed over opening of courts at night as narrative has been made courts were opened.
He further remarked is there any political reason behind this narrative. The court does not fear from any one except Almighty Allah. What is the difference between political narratives against Supreme Court (SC) and attack on it.
CJ IHC gave these remarks while hearing the case against harassment of the journalist and anchor person Arshid Sharif here Friday.
Arshid Sharif appeared before the court. PFUJ former president Afzal Butt also reached the court along with Arshid Sharif.

The CJ IHC remarked court is here for every one. Have you watched Kashif Abbasi program. Too much was said without verification of facts. He said why the court opened at night. The courts will open at 3 o’clock at night if the matter relates to constitution or some marginalized section of society. What order was issued by SC which affected any one. A narrative was made that the courts opened. The courts will open and they will not allow any one to defy the constitution.

The court remarked it was said about this court that CJ reached the court. Do you want that the court should not hear the cases of instant nature. This court does not believe in contempt of court. There is notification of 2019.
The court inquired from ARY reporter had he given press release to his channel. This court heard the case of Mati Ullah Jan at what time. Your petitioner had not signed and even then the court heard the petition. The court heard not only one petition but also it heard several petitions after its closing hours . There is responsibility too. You should be happy over it that violation of the constitution is not being allowed. If some one lifts Arshid Sharif at 3 Oclock at night then should court not hear it. Are there any political causes of it. You want that people lose their trust on court. SC has given clear message that a step contrary to the constitution will not be allowed to be taken.
The court observed you know this petition was dismissed with fine. All are saying that the courts opened. Your think not the court but your channel understands the constitution better. A narrative has been made on lie that the courts opened. Your channel has conducted how many programs on missing persons or Baloch students.
The court inquired from Afzal Butt you are here as representative of media. Tell us is this attitude correct. Reporters give correct news but those sitting in the office are not aware of the fact often. They offer incorrect comments. The institutions are being devastated for the sake of political narrative. This is not being done for the first time. SC is the highest forum for interpretation of the constitution. You are advised not to do this thing as it is not in the interest of Pakistan. Your channel has raised voice for the missing persons how much which is real issue. The court will open for basic rights. These narratives are of no use. The senior judges of SC are discussed only for this reason that they can not respond. Do tell us where we commit mistake. I ask from all of you what happened at that night. Has any court passed any order.
The court further remarked the court heard the petitions of the journalists after closing hours. Such impression is given that we sat at some one’s behest. Can any one access to us. It is in our law that the chief justice can hear any time a case of paramount and instant nature. A notification was issued in this regard in 2019. Petition will reach me with reference to it. I have to decide about it that it involves matter of instant and important nature or otherwise. Political narrative is being used against the institution. Don’t do so with the institutions. Demonstrate responsibility. Court reporters are doing great job. Nothing should have been hidden from them.
The court further observed the petition filed by Arshid Sharif was merely a piece of paper. We heard it.
The journalist Arshid Sharif told the court we want to raise issue of missing persons but threats are received from some unknown persons. There is undeclared censorship in this regard.
