Islamabad: Federal Minister for Health Mustafa Kamal informed the Upper House on Monday that 36 people were martyred in the suicide blast at a mosque in Tralai.

Speaking during a session of the Senate, the health minister said that 15 critically injured victims were currently under treatment at PIMS Hospital. He added that nine injured persons at PIMS and seven at Polyclinic Hospital were on ventilators.

Mustafa Kamal assured the House that all possible medical facilities were being provided to the injured and that there was no shortage of medicines, equipment or other treatment resources. He said the government was ensuring the best possible care for all victims of the tragic incident.
