Chakwal: As many as 5 people have been killed and 27 injured when a bus has plunged into deep ravine in the area of Dhok Pathan near Talagang.

The passenger bus was on its way from Rawalpindi to Karachi when it fell into a deep ravine while negotiating turn.

Heavy contingent of police and rescue teams rushed to the scene.

The bodies and injured were shifted to hospital.

According to RESCUE spokesperson the injured include 7 women.

The bodies and injured have been shifted to THQ Talagang. Several injured are stated to be in precarious condition.

Police said the investigation into the incident has been started. Every possible medical facility has been provided to the injured in the hospital.
