Islamabad: Probationary officers of the 54th Common Training Programme (CTP), currently undergoing training at the Civil Services Academy, visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part of their Islamabad Study Tour.
The delegation comprised probationary officers from all 12 occupational groups of the Civil Service, along with faculty members of the Civil Services Academy.
Additional Foreign Secretary Ambassador Hamid Asghar Khan briefed the delegation on the structure and functioning of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Pakistan's broader foreign policy contours.
The briefing was followed by an interactive session during which the probationary officers discussed various aspects of Pakistan's foreign policy and the working of the Foreign Ministry.
The visit formed part of the delegation's study tour aimed at providing the probationary officers with an understanding of the functioning of key federal institutions.
