66% Pakistanis say women in their households receive their rightful inheritance share: Gallup and Gilani survey

Islamabad: According to a Gallup and Gilani Pakistan survey, two-thirds of Pakistanis (66%) say women in their households receive their rightful inheritance share; urban households (74%) lead over rural (62%).A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country was asked the question, 'Do women in your household receive their inheritance share?'. In response to this question, 66% said 'yes', 30% said 'no', 4% said they did not know or did not respond.Meanwhile, according to another Gallup and Gilani Pakistan survey, a significant majority of 69% Pakistanis agree that global temperatures are rising, reflecting growing public recognition of climate change. Only 15% of respondents disagreed with this view, while another 15% said they did not know.A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country was asked the question, 'To what extent do you agree that global temperatures are rising?'. In response to this question, 69% agreed that global tempera tures are rising, 15% disagreed, 15% were unsure, while 1% did not respond.
