ýrawalpindi:A high-level delegation from Republic of Belarus led by Lieutenant General Aleksandr Volfovich, State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus, called on Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces (COAS and CDF), at General Headquarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi.ý

ýDuring the meeting, both sides discussed evolving regional and global security, matters of mutual interest and existing scope of bilateral defence cooperation.ý

ýThe COAS and CDF reiterated Pakistan's desire to further deepen defence and security cooperation with Republic of Belarus.

ýThe visiting dignitary reciprocated strengthening of defence, security cooperation and appreciated Pakistan's role in promoting regional peace and stability.
