Lahore: Accountability Court (AC) while announcing reserved judgment in Ramzan Sugar Mills reference against the Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz Sharif has transferred the NAB reference to anti corruption court.Ramzan Sugar Mills reference against Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz came up for hearing in the court Thursday and the court announced its reserved judgment.NAB prosecutor took the plea during the hearing of the reference there is no objection over transferring the reference to anti corruption court.Judge Zubair Shehbaz Kiyani of AC while accepting exemption plea of Hamza Shehbaz for one day announced the decision of transferring the reference to Anti corruption court.It is pertinent to mention here NAB had filed a new reference against Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz in Ramzan Sugar mills case on February 18, 2019. In this reference only these two accused were nominated. It was alleged in the reference that these two accused got constructed nullah illegally for R amzan Sugar mills.It was said in the reference filed in the court a loss of Rs 21crore 30 lac was caused to national kitty due to construction of this nullah , therefore, both the accused be convicted and punished.
