Islamabad: Minister of State for Interior Muhammad Talal Chaudhry has said Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI) is running an organized campaign to malign state institutions. He said that the action will be taken against those who become the part of anti-country trends. He said that the accounts which tweet in favour of PTI also tweet in favour of Israel, Tehreek-e-Taliban and BLA and running trends. He said that fake tweets and trends are being run from America, Canada and other countries. He said action will be taken according to law against those who will tweet against state and personalities in Pakistan, adding that freedom of expression is not unconditional.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Monday, Talal chaudhry said the PTI social media accounts are being operated from abroad.

The Minister of State reaffirmed that government fully believes in the freedom of expression but it should also be clear that there will be no compromise on national security.

During the news conference, Talal Chaudhry also played videos revealing how PTI pushes inorganic and paid hashtags through social media accounts and paid teams.
