Kabul: Afghanistan's Defense Ministry has clarified position on reported agreement with Pakistan. The Ministry of National Defense of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has denied reports claiming that a formal agreement was signed with Pakistan.In a statement, the ministry said that comments made by the Acting Minister of Defense during a recent press conference had been misinterpreted. It clarified that there is no separate or additional agreement beyond what was already stated.According to the ministry, the understanding between the two sides is based on mutual respect and the maintenance of a ceasefire, aimed at ensuring border security and preventing unauthorized movements or construction activities.The statement further emphasized that both sides remain committed to resolving issues through dialogue and cooperation, adding that any claims beyond these points are baseless.
