Muzaffarabad: Azad Kashmir Supreme Court has suspended controversial presidential ordinance of AJK government.A full court presided over by Chief Justice Raja Saeed Akram Khan of AJK SC heard the petition.The court issued order for suspending presidential ordinance after preliminary hearing.The court on the appeal of bar council and civil society restrained government from promulgating ordinance.It is pertinent to mention here that under the ordinance it was necessary to obtain permission from DC a week before any protest and public meeting or procession. Under ordinance no unregistered party or organization was entitled to file application for protest.All bar associations and political parties had rejected this ordinance.
