Alkhidmat Foundation distributes 100 tonne rice among the flood affectees with the cooperation of Zakat Foundation American

LAHORE: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has distributed 100 tonne rice among the flood affectees with the cooperation of Zakat Foundation American. Zakat Foundation is the welfare organization of the Muslims settled in America, which remains at the forefront in welfare activities in Pakistan and other countries of the world.

Zakat Foundation took part in relief activities in Pakistan along with Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan after the recent flood and now the Zakat Foundation has sent 100 tonne more rice to the flood affected districts of Sindh and Balochistan. Overall this aid has been distributed among the 10,000 families. Prior to this Zakat Foundation had distributed 160 tonne rice among the flood affectees.

Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Muhammad Abdul Shakoor while thanking the Zakat Foundation of America said that along with the Pakistanis enthusiastically support the Alkhidmat Foundation in its efforts for the help of the flood afffectees, the Pakistani donors living abroad are also not behind from anyone. He said that Zakat Foundation America is making efforts along with Alkhidamt Foundation for the help of the flood affectees.

Muhammad Abdul Shakoor said that the overseas Pakistanis are rendering great services for Pakistan, adding that the confidence of the overseas Pakistanis on the Alkhidamt Foundation is in fact recognition of the services of Alkhidmat Foundation. Muhammad Abdul Shakoor informed that after carrying out rescue and relief activities for the flood affectees while spending Rs 10 billion now rehabilitation and reconstruction activities are going on with the allocation of Rs 5 billion. He said that Alkhidmat Foundation will continue help of the flood affectees till their complete rehabilitation.
