Peshawar: An annual prize distribution ceremony was held at Government Girls Degree College Nahqi, Peshawar, to encourage students who had made valuable contributions to the college in various fields. The event was graced by the presence of Director P and D Javed Akbar, Director Establishment Muhammad Iqbal, President of KPPLLA Abdul Hameed Khan, and Assistant Professor of Government College Peshawar Nasir Khan. The college principal, Professor Noshaba Noreen, Director of Sports Sadia Gul, Professor Asia, other faculty members, and a large number of students also attended the event.
During the ceremony, certificates, medals, and trophies were awarded to students who demonstrated outstanding performances in various sports, the recently held science and IT exhibition at Government College Peshawar, and other fields.
Speaking at the event, the president of KPPLLA president , the college principal, and other dignitaries highlighted that Government Girls Degree College Nahqi has consistently excelled not only in academic activities but also in extracurricular fields. They credited the leadership skills of the college principal for the institution’s continued progress.
The speakers also commended the students’ enthusiasm and the college’s achievements in sports, emphasizing that achieving success despite challenging circumstances is no small feat. They added that these victories were attributed to the tireless efforts and dedication of Lecturer in Health and Physical Education, Sadia Gul, who played a significant role in bringing honor to the college.
The college principal congratulated all the successful students and reaffirmed the commitment to further enhance both academic and extracurricular activities in the future.
