LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) has removed court office objection on Imran Khan petition regarding appearance in the court through video link and security arrangements.

The petition filed against court office objection came up for hearing before single bench of LHC led by Justice Shahid Karim here Wednesday.

PTI general secretary Asad Umar appeared in the court along with counsels.

The counsel for the petitioner took the plea Imran Khan is facing security threats. We are ready to exclude the name of respondent over whom registrar office has raised objection.

The LHC while removing the court office objection on Imran Khan petition recommended to fix it before the respective bench for hearing.

Registrar office had earlier raised objection on the petition filed by Imran Khan in connection with his appearance in the court through video link and security arrangements.
