ATC accepts bail after arrest plea of PTI leader Shoaib Shaheen, orders to release him forthwith

Islamabad: Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra of Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad while recusing from hearing the bail plea of PTI leaders Sher Afzal, Sheikh Waqas, Ahmad Chatha, and Ahmad Ali has accepted bail after plea of Shoaib Shaheen and ordered to free him forthwith.The court accepted bail plea of Shoaib Shaheen against surety bond valuing Rs 100000,Bail plea of PTI leaders Sher Afzal Marwat, Sheikh Waqas Akram, Shoaib Shaheen, Zain Qureshi and others came up for hearing before Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra of ATC Saturday.Counsels Riasat Ali Azad, Umair Baloch, investigating officer and others appeared in the court.The counsel told the court that Shoaib Shaheen is in Adiala jail at this time. He was on bail in one case and in other case he was on physical remand which was nullified by the court.Record of two out of three cases was presented. Interval was observed during the hearing of the case.On resumption of hearing investigating officer appeared along with record.Riasat Ali Azad took the plea that record has come. Some pleas have to be made.Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra remarked prosecutor has not come. It is matter of one day. Hearing will take place after one day.Riasat Ali Azad argued mention has been made in FIR that police man was beaten. But medical certificate is not attached. Shoaib Shaheen has been accused of possessing pistol. But recovery has been made of a stickJudge Tahir Abbas Sipra remarked where is recovery of stick is mentioned.The counsel said the investigating officer told before Islamabad High Court a day before stick has been recovered from Shoaib Shaheen.judge Tahir Abbas Sipra remarked I try to give decision on bail plea today to the extent of Shoaib Shaheen. Home of Sher Afzal, Sheikh Waqas, Ahmad Chatha and Ahmad Ali have been declared sub jail.The court adjourned hearing of bail pleas of Sher Afzal, Sheikh Waqas, Ahmad Chatha and Ahmad Ali till Monday.The court accepted bail after arrest plea of Shoaib Shaheen against surey bond worth Rs 100000.
