Attackers are Indians in Pahalgam incident : Former Indian Home Minister P. Chidambaram

New delhi: Former Indian Home Minister P. Chidambaram has said there is no evidence of Pakistan involvement in Pahalgam terrorist attack and attackers are Indians.

Criticizing Modi government he said why Indian government thinks they have come from Pakistan. Has government identified that attackers are Pakistanis.

He held the attackers are in fact Indians and they got training of terrorism in India.

He remarked why government is saying without evidence the attackers were Pakistanis. If Pakistan is involved then why the evidences were not presented. Neither identification of those involved in Pahalgam attack was brought to open nor any clear arrest has come to light

BJP raised hue and cry over Chidambaram statement during debate over Operation Sindoor in Indian parliament.

The BJP members severely criticized the senior Congress leader for giving what they called a 'clean chit' to Pakistan regarding the Pahalgam incident.

Earlier Chidambaram while criticizing Indian government stance on Gaza said humanity is ashamed of in Gaza. Number of those being killed in Gaza daily run in dozens. Most of them are children and women who have nothing to do with this conflict.

He wrote on X that as per UN over 1000 Palestinians have been killed so far since May todate when they were trying to obtain food.

Look at the pictures of hungry children in refugees camps. They are starving to death. World is sleeping and when it wakes up then its conscience is already buried.
