Beijing: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar Advocate has reaffirmed the Government's commitment to support the creative sector including expanding avenues for film funding and international promotion.

Talking to director of the internationally acclaimed film 'Nayab' Umair Nasir Ali, who called on him during his official visit to Beijing, Attaullah Tarar acknowledged the potential of cinema as a tool of soft power and national storytelling.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the growing global recognition of Pakistani cinema and the role of cultural diplomacy in shaping Pakistan's international narrative.
