Islamabad: Information advisor to KP government barrister Saif has met with Afghan ambassador in Islamabad Sardar Ahmad Shakeeb.
The two discussed at length bilateral relations and matters related to regional security in the meeting.
Ongoing lawlessness related incidents in KP, security situation of Pakistan and Afghanistan and establishment of lasting peace in the region were discussed in the meeting.
Barrister Saif expressed solidarity with Afghan people and prayed for earthquake affectees. He also assured of every possible help for affected families.
Barrister Saif informed Afghan ambassador about the steps taken about law and order by KP government under chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur saying peace in Afghanistan and Pakistan is interconnected. Need is there to further fortify the relations.
During the meeting both the leaders agreed on mutual efforts for peace and development in the region. Stress was also laid on role of tribal jirgas.
Information advisor KP Barrister Saif has told that KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur is himself holding tribal jirgas which will prove helpful for establishment of peace.
Afghan ambassador Sardar Ahmad Shakeeb said on the occasion that Afghan government is prepared for extending every cooperation for peace. Durable peace in the region is in the mutual interest of both the countries.
