Hyderabad:Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has demanded of government to issue new National Finance Commission (NFC) Award. Talking to media men here Bilawal Bhutto said he is seeing for the first time Hyderabad is developing on fast track basis.

Different projects including Ring road are underway. There should be airport in Hyderabad too. I will ask Prime Minister to give this gift to Hyderabad.

He went on to say that historical victory on 26th amendment is not any era-specific but it is lasting.

About 27th constitutional amendment I am hearing from you. Government has not made contact with us so far with regard to 27th constitutional amendment.

He called upon government to summon NFC meeting and issue new NFC award. We have got assigned responsibilities to provincial governments but NFC award is the same.

Bilawal Bhutto said federal government should not shift burden of its failures to provinces. Provinces are not at fault in the failure of FBR in achieving its tax targets.

This is failure of federal government and those running FBR.

Resources be also given to provinces in the perspective of what responsibilities have been shifted to provinces due to 18th amendment, he underscored.
