Lahore: The anchor person Reehan Tahir who is arrested in blasphemy case has been sent to jail on judicial remand.

The matter of physical remand of news anchor Reehan Tahir who is arrested in blasphemy case came up for hearing in district Kutchery Lahore.

The investigation officer took the plea more physical remand of the accused is not required.

The case came up for hearing before judicial magistrate Naeem Watoo.

The court sent the accused Reehan Tariq to jail on judicial remand after the statement o investigation officer.

During the hearing of the case judicial magistrate Naeem Wattoo remarked no religious talk should be made without religious knowledge.

Earlier the accused was presented in the court under stringent security arrangement.

It is pertinent to mention here the NCCIA has registered case against the accused.
