Blocking of NIC of person named Quaid-e-Azam: PHC directs petitioner to appear before NADRA

Peshawar: Peshawar High Court (PHC) has directed a person named Quaid-e-Azam to appear before NADRA on the petition filed by him against blocking his National Identity Card (NIC).The petition filed by a citizen named Quaid-d-Azam came up for hearing before Justice Waqar Ahmad and Justice Inam Ullah Khan of PHC Monday.Saifullah Mohib Kakakhel the counsel for the petitioner argued during the hearing of the case the petitioner is a business man who is doing business in Pakistan and Dubai. The NIC of the petitioner has been blocked while he is Pakistani citizen and is running his business.Director Legal NADRA Shahid Imran Gagiani said we have filed reply . The NIC of the petition is suspicious.The counsel for the petitioner said the petitioner is being asked to bring his uncle. The petitioner is paying tax to government and he is being harassed and his NIC has been blocked. The remaining members of the petitioner's family are holding Pakistani NICs.The court directed the petitioner should appear befo re NADRA board and he should not be deported till that time.
