Blood donation camp organized in Islamabad


Islamabad: The Saudi Embassy in collaboration with Pakistan Red Crescent Society organized a blood donation camp in Islamabad on Wednesday.



The camp was organized under the Saudi national initiative led by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.



The Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, Director King Salman Humanitarian Aid for Pakistan Abdullah Al-Baqami, officers and staff of the embassy donated blood in the camp.



Blood donation is termed as a great service to the humanity and is essential to help patients survive surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries.
