ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) has issued notice to Election Commission (EC), Attorney General (AG) and Sadaf Ehsan in the case of issuance of notification in respect of Sadaf Ehsan instead of Sadaf Yasmin against reserved seat of woman.The case of issuance of notification of Sadaf Ehsan instead of Sadaf Yasmin on JUI-F woman reserved seat came up for hearing before SC.A bench under Justice Amin ud Din Khan took up the case for hearing Monday.Counsel Kamran Murtaza said JUI-F Sadaf Yasmin was candidate of JUI-F while EC issued notification of Sadaf Ehsan.Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar inquired how can we hear the arguments without issuing notice to EC and Attorney General.Counsel Kamran Murtaza said one stranger is there on the seat of JUI-F in the house. JUI-F has not even proposed name of Sadaf Ehsan.The court while issuing notice to EC and attorney general adjourned the hearing of the case for two weeks.
