Islamabad: The case where the appeals will be heard after NAB amendment has been fixed for hearing in the Supreme Court (SC) today.

A 3-member bench under Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar will hear the case today. Justice Musarrat Hilali and Justice Shahid Bilal are included in the bench.

Federal government requested for transferring pending appeals to Federal Constitutional Court (FCC).

Federal government has filed reply in this case taking the plea that pending appeals and bail related cases will be transferred to FCC.

It is pertinent to mention here parliament had made amendment in NAB laws in the month of March . Through amendment the powers to hear NAB appeal after high court were given to FCC. The three members bench will decide if the amendment is applicable to the pending cases or otherwise.
