Islamabad: In line with the direction of Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, the pace of sector development has been further accelerated. In this regard, in pending sectors where development work is in its final stages, the directions have now been issued to commence regular development work in sectors where it had not yet been initiated. Furthermore, the process of handing over possession of plots to owners in completed sectors has also been started.

In this context, tenders for development work in Sectors C-16/1 and C-16/2 have been published in newspapers. The estimated cost for the development work in Sectors C-16/1 and C-16/2 is 5 billion rupees, for which tenders have been issued.

Similarly, tenders worth 67 million rupees for the completion of road infrastructure work, culverts and remaining development works in CDA's Sector C-15 have been published in newspapers.

Additionally, in Sector I-15, which has been pending for decades, CDA will begin handing over possession of plots to owners on Thursday, November 13. A ceremony in this regard will be held at the Jinnah Convention Center.

On the instructions of Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa, development work in under-construction sectors has been expedited. As a result, development work in C-14 and I-12 has also entered its final stages, and allottees will be given possession of their plots within the next few months.

Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhwa has directed the officers concerned with sector development to remain present in the field for the timely completion of the sectors. He instructed that developed plots in new sectors be handed over promptly. Chairman CDA further said that alongside mega development projects in Islamabad, sector development to meet the residential needs of citizens is also among our top priorities.
