Certain quarters continue to issue statements that revive old divisions between Pakistan and Bangladesh

Islamabad: Despite the recent sincere efforts by Pakistan and the Bangladesh interim government to rebuild trust, foster bonds, and promote mutual cooperation for the greater good of both nations, certain quarters continue to issue statements that revive old divisions.

Small-minded individuals seem determined to live in the myths of the past rather than accept the realities of the current generation. They fail to recognise the urgent need for both countries to work together towards progress, stability, and shared prosperity.

Unfortunately, the person making such statements appears heavily influenced by outdated narratives and lacks the practical experience and vision required to lead Bangladesh effectively. Having lived abroad for many years, he has not contributed meaningfully on the ground to earn the right to hold this highly responsible and qualified public office.

Moving forward, Bangladesh and its people deserve leadership that prioritises forward-looking pragmatism over divisive rhetoric leadership that truly serves the interests of the present and future generations.
