Change in results, corruption of million of rupees: SHC stops inquiry against the accused persons

Karachi: Sindh High Court (SHC) has stopped Anti corruption from initiating proceedings against the accused persons including Farhan AKhtar, Ali Gul Jabani and Zubair Khutba in the case related to allegations of corruption and change of results in Mirpur Khas.

The court directed these three officers to join inquiry.

Saulat Rizvi advocate gave arguments the offence of these three officers is to point out corruption of controller Mir Pur Khas.

Controller Mir pur Khas Anwar Ali Rajpur changed the results of the students.

The counsel further said the three education officers wrote letters twice to member inspection team . Anti corruption had forbidden to hold any inquiry in connection with these letters. later the anti corruption started inquiry against the officers who had written letters.

Farhan Akhtar is deputy secretary, Ali Gul Jabani deputy secretary and Zubair Khutba are education officers.

Inquiry is being conducted against these three officers under charges of corruption of Rs 20 crore.
