Islamabad: Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong while condemning the recent terrorist attacks in Balochistan has expressed China's full solidarity with Pakistan.
Chinese Ambassador visited Interior ministry . Interior minister Mohsin Naqvi welcomed him.
An important meeting was held between Chinese Ambassador and Interior minister in interior ministry and the two discussed matters of mutual interest in the meeting.
Chinese Ambassador Jiang condemned in strong terms the terrorist attacks on civilians and security forces in Balochistan and expressed heartiest sympathies and condolences to the affected families saying he expresses full solidarity with the affectees in this hour of anguish. China condemns the terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
He expressed resolve China stands firmly with Pakistan in war against terrorism.
Mosin Naqvi said terrorism was committed in Balochistan under an organized and pre-conceived plan . However Security forces gave timely and effective response.
He informed Chinese ambassador timely and effective operations by security forces in Balochistan besides giving him briefing on protection and safety of Chinese projects and Chinese citizens.
Interior minister made it clear safety of Chinese citizens and projects is very dear to us . The enemy cannot harm Pak-China friendship in any way. Providing every possible security to Chinese citizens is top priority of government of Pakistan. Special protection unit is beings set up for the safety of Chinese citizens.
Modern Chinese technology and equipment will prove important and instrumental in coordinated operation against terrorism.
Interior minister briefed the Chinese ambassador about his recent successful visit to China.
It is pertinent to mention here both of them exchanged views at length on anti -terrorism, internal security and cooperation in security. The two also agreed on enhancing cooperation on intelligence sharing and cyber crimes.
They also reiterated their resolve to further fortify Pak-China strategic partnership.
Chinese ambassador expressed gratitude for taking steps by Pakistan for security of Chinese citizens.
Interior minister Mohsin Naqvi too thanked China for extending unwavering support to Pakistan on every occasion.
